MEGA SUMMER CAMP

Morning Academics + 4 Field Trips Each Week

A CAMP BOTH YOU and YOUR CHILD WILL LOVE...

June 11 - August 17

How does MEGA CAMP work?

Morning Academics (8:30am – 11:30am)

Campers begin the day with Math and English so their minds don’t get “summer stale.” CB4K reviews and introduces students to new material for the upcoming grade level. Campers work on math drills, fundamentals, writing strategies and reading comprehension. We understand it’s summer and kids need a break so we work to make learning fun and allow students to work in small groups and do not offer tests or homework. By 11:30am our campers are done with academics and ready for FUN!!

Click here to view information on Morning Academics

Afternoon Fun!: We eat lunch and head out for a FIELD TRIP 4X PER WEEK. Some of our local field trips include movies, beaches, bowling, museums, parks and swimming.  By 4pm we return back to the campus for fun filled activities.  We do understand it’s summer, so once a week typically Wednesdays we skip academics and have an all-day field trip to an exciting amusement park, water park, or major attraction. WOW!! Can you believe how much fun is packed into one week? By Friday afternoon our kids are exhausted, so we stay on campus and campers participate in various enrichment activities including dance, basketball, fitness, cooking, arts and crafts and much more.

AN AMAZING SUMMER EXPERIENCE EVERY CHILD SHOULD EXPERIENCE!

is mega camp to much for my tk or kindergartner?

CB4Kids summer camp is an awesome way to prepare your child for elementary school.  We prepare them academically while allowing them to have tons of fun on daily trips.  Parents and teachers have found that our trips help students with listening skills, following instructions and becoming independent.  It also helps to get students out of the habit of taking daily naps.  OUR TK AND KINDER STUDENTS HAVE A BLAST, and with our low student/tutor ratios, you can’t find a safer camp.

BENEFITS OF SENDING YOUR CHILD TO CAMP on a college campus

Students are exposed to taking classes on a college campus at an early age and because we are located in a separate building away from all summer school students, it allows our students room to run, play and engage in camp activities.  West LA offers our students a newly designed, safe and clean atmosphere creating a memorable experience for all ages.

MORNING ACADEMICS

concentration: english and math

8:30am - 11:30am

CB4K offers a review of grade level material as well as an introduction into concepts that students will need to know for the incoming school year.  Our academics allow students to work on fundamentals and core concepts that typically provide challenges during the school year.  Our academics focus on math drills, writing prompts, reading comprehension and common core standards.

CB4K’s mission is to keep students brains stimulated throughout the summer without overwhelming them with work. We understand it is summer break so we do not give homework or test during summer classes.  We believe that 2.5 – 3 hours of work each day is enough to retain and develop core academic skills.
